Freelance Site Manager

Job Overview

We are looking for a Freelance Site Manager for upcoming projects across the Northwest starting in the next 1-2 months. Projects vary from retail to MOJ, supermarkets, leisure, etc. The role involves overseeing commercial projects and ensuring they stay on schedule and meet client specifications.

Location: NorthwestSector: CommercialDay rate: £280‑£330 per dayDuration: Ongoing work; projects 3‑4 months each or temp‑to‑perm opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Oversee upcoming commercial projects.
• Work alongside Project Director daily.
• Ensure projects are on‑time and to client spec.
• Monitor site progress and ensure compliance with health & safety standards.
• Coordinate with design teams, consultants, and client representatives.
• Liaise with client regularly.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Site Manager (tier 1 or commercial experience).
• CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid, or any other relevant certifications.
• Minimum of 4+ years experience in a Site Manager position.
• UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
