What is the job role?
As a Children and Family Worker within the Help and Protection Service, you will work flexibly to meet the needs of the service. You will be a key person within the multi‑agency network, offering essential support services, advice, training, and strategies to help children and families. You will work in partnership and empower children and their families to sustain positive behavioural changes.
Responsibilities
- Offer support, advice, training and strategies to children and families.
- Engage with a multi‑agency network of professionals and agencies to gather information and plan strategies of support.
- Manage your own diary and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with the team to improve outcomes for children and families.
Qualifications and requirements
- Right to work in the UK – sponsorship is not offered.
- Strong communication skills with children, families, professionals and other agencies.
- Ability to manage your own diary and work collaboratively.
- Conditional appointment upon satisfactory DBS check under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
