Project Manager – AVRS
Location: Thames Water
Competitive salary | Contracted hours: 40 per week (Mon‑Fri) | Paid travel time in addition to contracted hours.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join AVRS, part of the Galliford Try group. Following several long‑term framework awards, we are looking for ambitious individuals with a strong industrial background to support long‑term projects within the Water Treatment Sector.
Projects range from £5k to £10m, where we act as Principal Contractor and Principal Designer, as well as supporting Tier 1 contractor clients. This is a permanent position, offering stability and growth within a thriving team.
What you will be doing
- Working as part of the Project Delivery team to ensure the scope of works is completed safely, on time and within budget, in accordance with AVRS and client specifications and standards.
- Engaging with AVRS’s positive safety culture.
- Ensuring that all Health and Safety legislation and regulations are adhered to and promote a positive culture.
- Ensuring that all installation works are installed to the highest standards, in compliance with the contract and project quality plan.
- Coaching and mentoring Project Engineers and Senior Site Members.
- Collaborating effectively within a growing team.
About you
- Project Management experience
- Mechanical or Electrical experience
- Ability to interpret Contracts, Programmes, Cost Reports.
- Experience to track and update Project Programmes.
- Appropriate Professional qualifications.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Experience of IchemE, NEC 3 & 4 Contracts.
Desirable
- Emergency First Aid or First Aider certification
- Industrial experience
- CSCS, ECS or CCNSG.
