Residential Support Workers are needed for a fantastic charity that supports vulnerable young people in the UK via their homes based in Newark.
Based in the residential community, you will work with young people aged 5‑18 who have suffered severe childhood trauma linked to exploitation, neglect, domestic violence and abuse. Your role is to help them understand their trauma and re‑establish a positive view of the world.
The Residential Support Worker role requires full commitment. It is a serious career path that demands self‑sacrifice to ensure the young people are always put first and receive the support they need. The job involves long hours, overnight shifts, alternate weekends, and sometimes staying beyond your shift to ensure safe handover or bedtime routines.
