SEN TA support Bedworth

About the role:

Justteachers is offering an opportunity for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school in Bedworth. This full time post is to start after the February Half term with short listing currently taking place.

The school prides itself on creating an inclusive, safe and nurturing environment for all pupils. They have an overall ‘good’ OFSTED report and are well recognised for their strong SEN provision. Staff work closely with families to ensure every child is supported both academically and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-to-one and group support to students with additional needs.
• Supporting the emotional and social development of pupils.
• Supporting the class teacher with daily classroom activities.
• Help de-escalate any challenging behaviour within the classroom calmly and effectively.
• Adapt learning materials to meet individual needs.

Pre-requisites:

• A level 2 or 3 teaching assistant qualification
• Experience supporting children with SEN
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A patient and nurturing approach
• Two references from education or child-based roles
