Join AWS As a Business Development Specialist

We are looking for a customer‑obsessed builder with experience in networking, security, or a related field to help position AWS as the cloud provider of choice for customers across EMEA. The role lies within the Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) Core Services and Advanced Compute team, supporting the Go‑To‑Market strategy for AWS’ Networking and Edge Services.

Key job responsibilities

  • Own the GTM strategy and execution for Networking and Edge Services in EMEA, collaborating with sales, partners, marketing, and specialist teams.
  • Leverage deep expertise in networking, edge computing, and content delivery to understand customer problems and enable field teams to solve them.
  • Lead cross‑functional initiatives to expand markets, develop scalable programs to drive adoption, and identify new opportunities within your domain.
  • Develop and execute growth goals to drive long‑term revenue and non‑revenue KPIs in EMEA.
  • Bring customer data and market signals back to worldwide teams to prioritize the right features and services.
  • Deliver monthly or quarterly business reviews and operational planning documents for your tech domain and geography.
  • Drive geographical scale through external partners and collaborate with solution architecture, business development, marketing, partners, and training teams to execute customer acquisition programs.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience developing, negotiating and executing business agreements.
  • Professional or military experience.
  • Experience developing strategies that influence organizational leadership decisions.
  • Experience managing cross‑functional programs, building processes and coordinating release schedules.
  • Experience working with core cloud technology services, including compute, edge, hybrid, security, and/or networking.
  • Experience in go‑to‑market, business development, sales, or consulting.
  • Experience with data and AI technologies, including AI/ML, GenAI, analytics, database, and/or storage.
  • Experience in a fast‑paced, high‑tech company or senior‑level leadership support.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Experience leading, negotiating and executing corporate and/or business transactions.
  • Technology domain experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations.
  • Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements.
