Overview
We are seeking a detail‑oriented and experienced Bookkeeper / Accountant to join our financial team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in managing financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting the organization’s financial health. Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile the general ledgers of multiple companies
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Reconcile intercompany balances
- Manage bank and credit card reconciliations
- Record day‑to‑day financial transactions (e.g., invoices, payments, expenses)
- Posting journals
- Assist with payroll preparation
- Liaise with external accountants and auditors as needed
- Maintain and organise financial documentation
- Monitor cash flow and update forecasts as required
- Work to deadlines set by the board
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of bookkeeping/accounting experience
- Minimum 1 year using Xero
- Proficient and experienced Excel user
- Good timekeeping and accountability
- Strong communication and organisational skills
