HR Assistant
Location: London (Hybrid Working). Contract: 12‑month fixed‑term. Start date: July 2026. Salary: £28‑30k.

The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an organised and proactive HR Assistant to join a collaborative HR team. Reporting to the HR & People Development Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of the people strategy, enhancing employer brand, and ensuring smooth day‑to‑day HR operations.
This is a varied, hands‑on role covering HR administration, recruitment support, learning & development, employee engagement, and payroll coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Support hiring managers with recruitment, including job advertising, interview coordination, and candidate communication.
- Assist with onboarding processes, inductions, and exit procedures.
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
- Provide guidance to employees on HR policies and procedures.
- Assist with Finance to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
- Coordinate training sessions with external providers.
- Manage logistics such as scheduling, bookings, and approvals.
- Support internal communications and employee engagement initiatives.
- Help produce internal newsletters and updates.
- Lead and organise social and team engagement activities.

- Previous experience in an HR or administrative role (payroll exposure advantageous).
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- A team player who remains calm and professional under pressure.
