Care and Support Assistant
Location: Clover Court, Clapham Road South, Lowestoft NR32 1RB
Salary: £13.15 per hour
Hours available: 36 hours, 33 hours, and 18 hours per week
We are a CQC registered physical disability service at Clover Court, Clapham Road South, Lowestoft NR32 1RB.
Your role
- Support customers with physical disabilities to build independence and reach their potential
- Work as a key worker to help individuals create and follow care and support plans
- Provide personalised care, including sensitive personal care and safe medication management
- Assist customers with daily routines such as getting up, washing, and dressing
- Support customers to access the community, including shops, cafés, friends, and appointments
- Promote a positive culture by engaging with customers and reducing social isolation
- Help maintain a clean and comfortable environment and follow safe practices, including risk assessments
- Experience delivering personal care is helpful but not essential
- Kind, caring and compassionate nature
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
- Flexible and adaptable to changing customer needs
- Strong organisational skills
- NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards it
- Proficient technology/IT skills (Microsoft Office and similar)
