We are looking to recruit a Support Worker to join our team in Scarborough.
This is a full‑time role: 08:00 – 20:00.
£13.45 per hour.
What you’ll be doing
You will be part of a compassionate team committed to residents’ well‑being, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future. You will assist qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual care plans, undertake routine tasks, support day‑to‑day activities, encourage and promote independent living, and help people reach their potential through practical and emotional support.
- Encourage people to live as independently as possible, while supporting them in building life skills and achieving goals at their own pace
- Assist tenants in a person‑centred way, which can include personal care, participation in activities and support with daily living skills, including maintenance of tenancy
- Complete daily administration of electronic and paper records with the involvement of the individual as appropriate
- Liaise with other specialists to support the individual’s health and well‑being
- Encourage participation and integration in the local community through activities and interests that meet their ambitions and help them achieve outcomes in their chosen way
- Embed the REACH standards in everyday practice
- Follow company policies and procedures

Qualifications and Skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and resilience

- Competent in verbal and written English
- A social care qualification is desirable, but not essential
- Right to work in the UK
