Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for Residential Support Workers to join an inspirational team in Bridgewater. We are a small residential home with a big vision and we’re looking for passionate Residential Support Workers who are committed to making a change to join our team. The young people we support have had difficult journeys; they have learned strategies to survive that have often placed them at risk. Our goal is to come alongside them, support and guide them to recognise their potential, achieve their aspirations and to ultimately have the childhood every child deserves. Ideally you will have experience of working with Autism, you will be resilient and reflective in your practice and willing to take on a challenge.

Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day care and support to young people in a residential setting. Work as part of a team to implement care plans and strategies to help individuals recognise their potential and aspirational goals. Be resilient, reflective, and willing to take on challenges. The role is based on a rolling rota including sleeps ins.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience of Residential Childcare (1 year preferred)
  • Experience of working with Autism (preferred)
  • Resilient and reflective in practice
  • Willing to engage with ongoing training and development

Salary and Benefits

Annual salary ranges and benefits as listed below:

  • Annual salary – £29,824 (qualified with relevant NVQ Level 3) based on average of 8 sleeps per month
  • Salary £35,865 (Qualified with relevant level 3) based on 10 sleeps per month
