About Thornfield Grange
Thornfield Grange is a specialist residential service with nursing for adults with autism, learning disabilities and complex needs. Based in Bishop Auckland, County Durham, it supports individuals who have behaviours that may challenge, as well as those who have significant difficulties with social engagement.
Responsibilities
- Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all service users, patients and residents.
- Provide guidance and encouragement through physical and emotional support.
- Learn about individuals’ specific needs and provide help in the most appropriate way.
- Assist with medical and welfare needs and report as required.
- Safeguard.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for all.
Qualifications

- Excellent communicator and good team player.
- Sensitive and intuitive with the energy required to provide a trusting, stimulating and varied environment.
