Responsibilities

  • Exhibit enthusiasm to learn and an interest in the business and role.
  • Display an eagerness to build knowledge and willingness to put in the effort to develop skills.
  • Maintain high standards of punctuality, attendance, appearance and professionalism at all times.
  • Observing, learning and understanding a wide range of skills and processes while under the instruction of skilled staff.
  • Demonstrate these skills and processes as the training period progresses by working independently or with a team, undertaking tasks as instructed and increasing overall contribution to the business.
  • Undertake and successfully complete all training activities, achieving the academic grades and practical skills to complete the apprenticeship qualification.
  • Learn and comply with relevant Health & Safety legislation at all times.
  • Ensure the quality of output at all times.
  • Accurately record all work undertaken and complete and submit all reports on time.
  • Involvement in continuous improvement activities.
  • Represent the company in a professional manner at all times and maintain customer relations.
  • Adhere to the quality processes and procedures as set out by the company.
  • Maintain records and log book over the duration of the apprenticeship period, recording projects undertaken and the skills learned, and submit and report requirements within the required timescale.
  • Carry out scheduled maintenance in line with manufacturers’ requirements.
  • Provide first-line support to our customers in fault rectification of these systems.
  • Identify faults, establish root causes and suggest improvements to engineer out the issue.
  • Communicate back to the main business for upgrades and project opportunities.
  • Manage customers’ expectations during breakdowns.
  • Facilitate the sharing of knowledge and improvements, both within the site team and to the wider business.
  • Adhere to health and safety standards, including but not limited to Method Statements and Risk Assessments.
  • Comply with the company policy as defined in the Staff Handbook, Safety Manual, and Quality Assurance Manual.
  • Work across multiple sites as requested.

Qualifications

  • All applicants must have a minimum of 5 GCSEs (Grade C/5 or above) including the core subjects of Maths, Science, and English.
