Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and motivated Logistics Operative to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out a range of duties flexibly across all logistics areas, ensuring the Health & Safety of yourself and others in line with EHS policies and procedures.
• Complete documentation accurately and timely in line with operational procedures and ERP processes.
• Help maintain good 6S standards across the team and utilise lean methodology to optimise processes.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable ISO standards (ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001, ISO50001).
• Participate in continuous improvement projects focusing on customer satisfaction, cost reduction, on-time performance and process efficiency improvements.
• Liaise with and support internal departments and external customers with their logistics requirements and ensure they are dealt with in a timely, professional and efficient manner.

Skills & Experience

• Strong previous experience of working within logistics including materials handling, packing, warehousing, storage and distribution of goods.
• Good communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively across a diverse group of people.
• Flexible, can-do attitude with high motivation to complete tasks to a high standard.
• Previous exposure to lean manufacturing principles.
• Competence and confidence in the use of relevant IT packages including Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
• Experience of investigations into non-conformance and root cause analysis.
