The Role:
The Youth and Community Coach forms part of the Street League Delivery Team and works in partnership with the Progressions Coordinator in delivering and administering Street League’s programmes in their specific local area.
This role involves recruiting and engaging young people, delivering sport and personal development sessions, and supporting youth to gain confidence and skills for transition into employment, education, and training.
You will be responsible for:
- Engaging young people in local communities and online, and establishing and maintaining community partnerships.
- Recruiting and registering young people onto Street League activity.
- Delivering community-based street sports and the Street League Academy Programme.
- Creating sports and team building activities aligned to Street League’s practice framework and qualifications.
- Performing data entry and ensuring compliance for all Street League activity.
Work pattern – 36.25 hours per week, Monday‑Friday.
Location – Highlands – Inner Moray Firth (with office base in Inverness).
Contract – Fixed‑Term until March 2027, with the possibility of extension beyond this period.
