Parts Advisor – BP Rolls Andover

Role
This role focuses on supporting our busy workshop and mobile technicians by ensuring they have the right parts, at the right time, in order to deliver high‑quality servicing and repairs both onsite and at customer locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate stock levels, monitor inventory turnover, and reorder parts as necessary to meet demand.
- Order Processing: Receive and process parts orders, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to the depot.
- Coordination with Service Centre: Collaborate with vehicle technicians and fleet operations to ensure the seamless availability of required parts for scheduled repairs and maintenance.
- Administrative Duties: Handle parts returns, warranty claims, and maintain accurate records of transactions and inventory.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organised work environment.
- Teamwork: Work collaboratively to achieve common goals and deadlines.
Requirements
- Qualifications: Minimum GCSE pass in English and Mathematics.
- Experience: Previous experience in an automotive parts advisor role is preferred, along with maturity to make decisions, communicate across all levels, and manage an independent workload in an organised manner.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding and interest in automotive parts and systems.
- Skills: Excellent communication and customer service skills, proficiency in using IT / front office software, confidence to multitask and work to deadlines.
- Physical Capability: Ability to lift, move, and assist in the relocation of large mechanical parts comfortably and without risk of injury.
- Licence: A valid UK driving licence is required.
