Bath, Somerset (BA2 & surrounding areas) £90 – £105 per day (dependent on experience) Start Date: September (start of the new academic year) | Potential to start earlier | Term-time only
Responsibilities
- Providing 1:1 support for pupils with SEN and SEMH needs
- Supporting small group interventions
- Helping pupils develop emotional regulation, confidence, and independence
- Using strategies to support behaviour, communication, and engagement
- Assisting the class teacher with general classroom support where appropriate
- Contributing to a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment
Qualifications
- Experience working with children or young people with additional needs
- A calm, patient, and resilient approach
- Strong relationship‑building and behaviour management skills
- Ability to support pupils individually and in small groups
- A genuine commitment to supporting children with SEN/SEMH needs
- A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable but not essential
