Control Room Operator

Mitie – 1st Floor, Unit 9 Silverwood Business Park, 70 Silverwood Road, Lurgan, Craigavon, County Armagh, BT66 6SY

Hours

42 hours per week, 4 on / 4 off shift pattern, 7am–7pm (days only)

Salary

£13.54 per hour

Main Duties

  • Managing alerts from high‑value vehicles and communicating them to owners.
  • Handling incoming and outgoing telephone calls to clients.
  • Utilising software to ensure compliance standards are met.
  • Working as part of a team liaising with different clients nationally.
  • Maintaining confidentiality and professionalism when handling client information.
  • Following correct procedures for incident reporting and real‑time monitoring of vehicles.
  • Communicating effectively with team members, others in the business and clients.
  • Carrying out work safely and diligently and complying with all Health & Safety policies and procedures.
  • Undertaking additional duties as required by management.
  • Complying with ISO 27001 standards and procedures.
  • Meeting individually set KPIs.
  • Keeping up to date with system information, changes and updates.
  • Working on a number of systems unique to the contract (full training provided).

  • A willingness to learn, develop and show a high level of commitment and professionalism.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Desired Experience

  • Experience in a professional office environment communicating with clients.
  • Ability to work autonomously to meet KPIs.
  • Customer service experience including phone calls.

Essential

  • Applicants must have a 5‑year checkable history.
  • Must successfully pass a PSNI check as per BS5979 and BS7858 screening standards.
