Your new company is a leading international building services consultancy seeking an Intermediate Mechanical Project Engineer to join their high-performing London team. This is an opportunity to work on technically complex, high-profile projects across sectors including defence, commercial, infrastructure and mission‑critical environments.

Your new role

You will play a key role in the design and delivery of mechanical building services systems, working within multidisciplinary teams on some of the most challenging and prestigious projects in the UK and internationally.

  • Large‑scale secure government and defence facilities
  • Highly serviced commercial developments

You will be responsible for:

  • Mechanical design (HVAC, public health, building systems) from concept through to completion
  • Producing and reviewing technical drawings, specifications, and calculations
  • Collaborating with clients, contractors, and internal teams
  • Supporting project delivery, including site involvement and commissioning stages
  • Contributing to sustainable and low‑carbon design solutions

What you’ll need to succeed

  • Degree‑qualified in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering
  • 3–6 years’ experience within a building services consultancy environment
  • Strong technical design capability across HVAC systems
  • Experience working on complex or high‑security projects is advantageous
  • Ability to contribute within multidisciplinary project teams
  • Must be eligible for DV clearance (British citizenship typically required; clean background history)
