Materials Testing Technician

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Field Materials Technician with at least 2 years of experience in materials testing to join our team. In this role, you will conduct on‑site materials testing and analysis for various construction and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct on‑site testing of construction materials (concrete, asphalt, soil, etc.) according to UK industry standards (BS, EN, ASTM).
• Perform tests including plate testing, concrete cube making, and other relevant tests.
• Record and evaluate material performance, ensuring compliance with project specifications.
• Maintain field‑testing equipment and troubleshoot equipment issues, ensuring testing procedures are not delayed.
• Collaborate with site teams to resolve material‑related issues.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of field‑based experience in materials testing, specifically with a strong focus on materials such as concrete, soil, asphalt, and aggregates.
• Experience with field testing equipment.
• Good communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong commitment to quality and safety.
