Kitchen Supervisor – The Salad Project

£14 per hour. Monday – Friday, 11 am – 8 pm.

Role

  • Up to 45 hours per week
  • Senior cooks to work under our kitchen managers
  • Lead key service shifts (Lunch: 7-5 pm or Dinner: 12-10 pm)
  • Help manage our team of cooks
  • Implement and improve kitchen processes
  • Monitor and implement hygiene best practices in and out of service to maintain our 5* hygiene rating
  • Report to, pass on feedback from, and support a kitchen manager

  • Efficient, quality food prep proficiency
  • Manage a small team through service hours
  • Leadership and communication skills
  • Effectively report and communicate information to the kitchen manager
  • Positive energy and dedication to the team
  • Respectful and conscious punctuality and scheduling

Experience Requirements

  • At least 1 year experience working in a professional kitchen/casual dining restaurant
  • Previous cooking experience, including manning a combo oven, is a must
  • Team leadership experience

Compensation

  • £14 per hour
