What you’ll do

You’ll join VodafoneThree’s network team and help build the UK’s best network. As a Field Engineering apprentice, you’ll be on the frontline installing and maintaining cutting‑edge fixed‑line and mobile equipment, tackling faults quickly and keeping the UK connected.

  • Build hands‑on technical skills from day one, supporting and maintaining the mobile network infrastructure and fixed‑line equipment.

  • Work safely at heights, including on rooftops and ladders up to 3 metres. Safety is our top priority: comprehensive training, regular health assessments and high‑quality PPE accompany you.
  • Take ownership of your work as you progress; manage your own schedule, work independently and solve technical challenges to boost network performance and keep customers connected.

Who you are

  • You put safety first, making smart choices for yourself and colleagues.
  • You enjoy figuring things out – solving problems and learning new technical skills.
  • Happy to travel as required, with a flexible attitude to working hours and able to work safely at heights.
  • You hold a clean driving licence.
  • You must hold GCSE English & Maths at Grade 4/C or above by September 2026.
  • You meet UK Government apprenticeship levy funding eligibility requirements.

What we offer

  • Competitive pay and an annual performance bonus.
  • Up to 28 days off plus bank holidays, plus paid time for charity work.
  • Personalised benefits – discounts, vouchers, a pension plan and more.
  • Career support with learning tools and top‑notch parental leave policies.

Need to know

  • Your role will involve travelling across your region, working at heights, and operating on a 24/7 shift pattern including weekdays, weekends and nights.
  • A company van will be provided to support required travel.
  • Applications close on the 21st of June 2026.
  • Background checks – criminal (DBS) and financial – are part of the recruitment process.
