We are looking for experienced and reliable Machinery Movers / Rigging Specialists to join our team on a fixed-term 12-month project based in Darlington in the North East.
The role will involve the movement, installation, positioning, and alignment of industrial machinery and equipment across a new process site.
Key Responsibilities
- Lift and shift of industrial machinery and equipment
- Machinery positioning and relocation
- Marking out equipment locations and layouts
- Line and levelling of machinery and production equipment
- Safe use of rigging and lifting equipment
- Working from site drawings and specifications
- Assisting with installation and decommissioning works
- Maintaining high health and safety standards on site
- Liaising with supervisors, site managers and clients
We are looking for someone with the following experience and qualifications:
- Previous project experience in machinery moving, rigging, or industrial installation essential
- Experience with line and levelling equipment essential
- CSCS/CCNSG card preferred
- Full UK driving licence preferred
- Supervisor experience preferred but not essential
- Strong work ethic and ability to work as part of a team
Working Hours
- 10-hour days (weekend overtime available)
