Thomas’s Battersea is a buzzing, happy school in the heart of London, alive with curiosity, creativity, and purpose. Walk our corridors and you will feel the warmth of the welcome, the energy in classrooms, and the deep-rooted kindness that binds our community. We place our belief in strong values, co-curricular passions, and academic excellence; it’s a place where children can be themselves, where their skills are noticed and nurtured, and where they are encouraged to aim high and enjoy their educational journey.
Our facilities match our ambition: light-filled classrooms, inspiring arts spaces, a vibrant playground, and excellent sport and outdoor learning provision. Exceptional staff bring expertise and spark to every lesson and activity, creating an atmosphere that is both purposeful and joyful. Professional development is a central priority, and our recognition as an Apple Distinguished School reflects our commitment to innovation in teaching and learning.
The staffroom feels like a family – supportive, collaborative, and proud to celebrate one another’s success.
Academically, pupils are stretched and supported in equal measure, building the knowledge, skills and confidence to excel at their first-choice senior schools. Many secure scholarships and awards across disciplines. Beyond the classroom, a rich co‑curricular programme, including performing arts, competitive sport, outdoor education and clubs, helps children develop resilience, creativity, leadership and a strong sense of self.
