Responsibilities
- Work closely with staff and students, building strong relationships and fostering a positive learning environment.
- Support students’ learning and behaviour management, using current practices and strategies across literacy, numeracy, and science.
- Assist teachers in classroom and one‑to‑one settings, providing tailored support to meet individual student needs.
- Contribute to the broader school experience, observing diverse teaching and learning styles and supporting the curriculum.
Qualifications
- Holding an NVQ Level 4 in Teaching Assistance or equivalent skills and experience.
- Solid understanding of modern practices in supporting children’s learning and behaviour management.
- Knowledge in key areas such as literacy, numeracy, and science.
