The Role
- Teach an enthusiastic and engaged Year 5 class, maintaining high expectations for learning and behaviour.
- Plan and deliver creative, well‑structured lessons across the National Curriculum.
- Assess, monitor, and support pupil progress to ensure all learners are challenged and supported appropriately.
- Create a nurturing classroom environment where children feel safe, confident, and inspired to learn.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the year group and wider school community to share best practice.
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers to support each child’s learning journey.
About You
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and has experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (Year 5 experience preferred).
- Demonstrates excellent classroom practice and a thorough understanding of the primary curriculum.
- Is reflective, adaptable, and committed to ongoing professional development.
- Brings a positive, proactive, and professional approach to their work.
- Enjoys working collaboratively as part of a supportive team.
