Role Overview
You’ll be given accredited training from some of the best brands in the industry, including Audi, Land Rover and Honda. At the end of the apprenticeship you’ll gain a nationally recognised qualification in Vehicle Parts. The training programme lasts for two years.
As a Swansway Parts Apprentice you will be teamed up with an experienced Parts Advisor who you’ll work closely with day to day and you’ll be learning tasks on the job.
You’ll be given a structured training plan and an Assessor who will work closely with you to set tasks and assess your skill level. You’ll also be supported by a mentor and our in‑house Apprentice Coordinator who will be on hand to give you support every step of the way.
We also offer a great salary so you can really “earn as you learn”. Your salary will be reviewed upon completion of the apprenticeship.
Responsibilities
- Pick and package parts correctly, ready for shipping to customers in a timely manner.
- Photograph and prepare new online listings for parts and accessories using parts catalogues and listing templates.
- Assist with stock check management.
- Create new stock locations in the warehouse.
- Handle enquiries, internal or external, either face‑to‑face or over the phone.
- Coordinate with different departments within the dealership.
- Work as part of a team in a busy environment.
Qualifications
- GCSEs or equivalent: 4‑9 or A‑C in Maths, English and a Science or Technical subject.
- To be literate, reliable and eager to learn.
- A desire to work as part of a team in a practical environment.
