Humanities Teacher / Stoke-on-Trent / June Start / Fixed-Term Contract
A highly regarded secondary school in Stoke-on-Trent, North Staffordshire, is eager to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Humanities Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis from 1st June until the end of the summer term (17th July).
Starting after the May half-term, the successful candidate will deliver engaging and high-quality lessons to KS3 and KS4 students. The role involves teaching History and RE (RSHE).
Role Information
- Providing KS3 & KS4 education to students
- Creating engaging and inspiring learning experiences tailored to curriculum
- Building meaningful rapport with students over a 2 month period
- Contract runs from June to July 2026
- Daily rate: £170-£230 during term-time
Applicant Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status – Secondary Humanities
- Recent experience teaching History and/or RE
- Minimum 2:2 university degree
- Excellent communication and organisation skillset
- Strong behaviour management skills
- Passionate about student development and engagement
- Eager to secure long-term role within a strong Humanities department
