Painter Decorator

As a Painter Decorator, you will ensure all finishes are well‑maintained and visually appealing – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.
Typical Day
Prepare and apply finishes: Paint and polish surfaces in hotel rooms and public areas to meet required standards and timelines.
Install and repair wall and ceiling coverings: Work with materials like vinyl, fabric, and foil, and maintain caulked, grouted, wooden, and masonry surfaces with stain, varnish, and lacquer.
Maintain tools and equipment: Keep all painting tools, equipment, and work areas in excellent working condition.
Manage painting supplies: Oversee supply inventory and ensure all paints and solvents are stored safely and properly.
Qualifications
Trade qualification in Painting preferred.
Previous painting experience required.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to work without close supervision and within established timeframes. Strong work ethic.
A passion for managing a variety of projects and tasks throughout the day.
