Responsibilities
You will work on live construction sites to prepare the area for structural works, support on-site trades, and assist with final completion activities. Tasks include setting out and preparing sub‑surfaces, installing drainage systems, concreting, constructing roads and pathways, and carrying out finished hard landscaping. You will gain experience across rail, tunnelling, plant operations, engineering, utilities and building sectors.
Qualifications
- GCSE Maths and English at grade A*‑D / 3‑9 (or equivalent)
- No prior experience required – you must be ready to learn, have a positive mindset and a can‑do attitude
- Eligible to work in the UK with a valid work permit if applicable (no sponsorship provided)
- May need a full UK driving licence due to site locations
