An exciting opportunity has arisen to be part of an inspirational team as a Patisserie Chef at our Lacock Garden Centre near Chippenham.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for baking and decorating high quality pastries, cakes and desserts, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills and great motivation are essential.
Working Hours
- Work 4 days between Monday to Friday and alternate weekends, no split shifts.
- Bank Holidays are required.
Responsibilities
- Organise and run your own pastry section within the kitchen.
- Create high-quality pastries, desserts and cakes with excellent decoration skills and attention to detail.
- Train junior members of staff.
- Stock control and compliance, managing stock and minimising waste.
- Show great communication skills.
- Ensure Company standards and specifications are met and maintained at all times.
- Ensure the highest possible standard of hygiene is practised and maintained to meet Health & Safety regulations and food preparation guidelines.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar kitchen environment required.
