KS2 Teacher

A welcoming and ambitious primary school in Hammersmith and Fulham is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic KS2 Teacher to join their team from September. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident primary teacher who is passionate about delivering high-quality learning and helping pupils achieve their very best.
The successful candidate will be committed to creating an engaging, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment where children are challenged, inspired, and encouraged to reach their full potential. This role would suit an experienced teacher or an ECT who is eager to develop within a supportive school setting.
The Role
- Teach a KS2 class and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons.
- Plan and adapt learning to meet the needs of all pupils.
- Support pupils’ academic progress, confidence, and independence.
- Use assessment effectively to inform planning and next steps.
- Maintain high expectations for behaviour, presentation, and achievement.
- Work closely with colleagues, support staff, and families.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school and the KS2 team.
The Ideal Candidate
- Qualified Teacher Status.
- Experience teaching in KS2, or strong upper primary training/placement experience.
- A strong classroom presence and positive behaviour management skills.
- Excellent communication, organisation, and teamwork skills.
- A reflective and proactive approach to teaching.
- Passion for supporting pupils of all abilities.
- Open to both experienced teachers and ambitious ECTs.
