Early Years Apprentice
Location: Kido Waterloo Nursery & Preschool, 91 Cornwall Rd, London SE1 8TH
Compensation: £18,200 – £19,240 per year (depending on apprenticeship level)

Key Qualifications
- No existing qualifications required for Level 3 Apprentice; you must have genuine passion for Early Years and Childcare and be hardworking and keen to learn.
- Evidence of experience with children, ideally in a nursery setting.
- Right to work in the UK; must hold UK residency for the past 3 years or more.
- Maths and English GCSE desirable; if not held, you will complete a Level 2 Maths and English Functional Skills test to show competence. Current equivalent of Level 1 Maths and English is required initially.

- If shortlisted you’ll provide details of all unspent convictions in line with our Safer Recruitment process; an enhanced DBS check will be processed for anyone who joins the team.
Benefits
- Salary: £18,200 for Level 2 Apprenticeship (full time, 40 hours per week).
- Upon qualification: salary increase to £26,000.
- Salary for Level 3 Apprenticeship: £19,240 (full time, 40 hours per week).
- Pay increase to £21,320 upon achieving Level 2 competency sign‑off, usually within first 2 months.
- Second year pay uplift to the minimum wage for age.
- Upon completion of qualification: salary increases to at least £26,499 and eligibility for a £500 qualification bonus paid in two instalments.
