We are looking for a Teacher of Biology (Science) to begin in September 2026. This is a permanent, full‑time position in the heart of Merton. The school is an outstanding secondary school with strong Progress 8 results and a supportive School Leadership Team.

Job Description

• Inspiring and motivating the younger generation.
• Working alongside a team of fantastic Science teachers.
• TLR Opportunities: KS3 Coordinator and Pastoral Responsibilities.

• September 2026 start – Full Time & Permanent.
• MPS1-UPS3 – £38,766 to £60,092 plus TLR (salary size depends on experience).
• Located in the Borough of Merton.

Person Specification

• Must have UK QTS or be in the process of gaining it.
• Strong academic background – degree, A‑levels and GCSEs.
• Meeting the 8 Teaching Standards to a “Good” or “Outstanding” level.
• Ability to work as part of a large team of Science teachers.
• Willingness to listen to feedback.
