Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality teaching aligned with the National Curriculum and the school’s curriculum intent
• Plan, assess and adapt learning effectively to meet the needs of all pupils
• Promote positive behaviour, inclusion and high standards of pupil conduct
• Contribute positively to the Catholic life and mission of the school
• Safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people
• Lead or support the coordination of one or more curriculum subjects

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Have a strong understanding of effective primary pedagogy
• Demonstrate commitment to inclusive practice and pupil wellbeing
• Support and respect the Catholic ethos of the school
• Be a strong communicator and committed team member
• Demonstrate a clear commitment to safeguarding children
