Sales Assistant/ Cashier
We’re looking for a friendly, confident communicator to join our Sales team. Do you have a sale driven attitude and are committed to delivering excellence? Then this could be the role for you.
Candidate will have a positive, can-do attitude and enjoy meeting new people. You will happily interact with customers face-to-face daily to provide the first-class service we are well known for.
The perfect candidate will maintain excellent customer service, whilst processing sales and inputting orders into our system.
Salary: £27,400.00
We are looking for applicants who have the following skills:
- Strong customer service experience, ideally within a telesales environment
- Great telephone manners and email writing skills
- Ability to engage with customers on the phone in a friendly and professional way
- Strong computer skills and experience working with Dynamics AX
- Eligibility to live and work in the UK
- A good standard of spoken English
- Great communication and people skills
- A friendly, positive, problem-solving nature
- Confidence to handle cash in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge and experience of working in a frontline job
- Computer literacy (including Microsoft Word and Excel)
Responsibilities of the role:
- Input orders into the system for collection and delivery
- Identify sales opportunities to grow existing customer accounts
- Generate sales through contact with prospective customers
- Respond efficiently to queries with appropriate information on products and services
- Interact with customers and process sales quickly, accurately and efficiently
