About the role

30 hours per week, Term Time 39 weeks Part‑time Fixed‑Term Contract until 31st August 2027.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the organisation and management of pupils and the classroom.
  • Work with the team to create and maintain a purposeful, orderly and supportive learning environment.
  • Promote the inclusion of all pupils, ensuring they have equal access to opportunities to learn and develop.
  • Promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people within the school.
  • Work with individuals and groups of pupils to deliver learning programmes.
  • Encourage pupils to interact with others and engage in activities.
  • Assist with the general pastoral care of pupils, including helping pupils who are unwell, distressed or unsettled.
  • Assist pupils with personal needs as appropriate.
