Forklift Operative

Streamline Services are currently recruiting for a number of Forklift Operatives based out of Stanford‑Le‑Hope.

Monday‑Friday shifts either 05:00‑14:00 or 13:00‑22:00.

Key Duties

• Unloading: unload pallets from trailer or container using a forklift or hand‑balling.
• Check pallets off from a manifest, ensuring the address on the pallet corresponds with the manifest.
• Each shipment has a reference number; this reference must be written on the leading pallet.
• Any discrepancies should be noted on the manifest and recorded on a spreadsheet on the computer.
• Loading: pick pallets by reference number from the warehouse using a loading list and load vehicles/trailers securely.

This is an ongoing role.

Basic pay is £13.50 per hour basic. This will be paid PAYE and you will accrue holiday pay.
