Volunteer Car Driver – Patient Transport Service – Reading

We are looking for compassionate volunteers to provide safe and reliable transport for vulnerable patients to non‑emergency medical appointments. Your commitment ensures patients reach appointments on time with comfort and reassurance.

Main duties

• Drive patients to non-emergency appointments.
• Coordinate with dispatch teams for seamless operations.
• Build positive relationships within the community.
• Manage the route independently while supported by the team.

What we’re looking for

• Valid driving licence (no more than 6 penalty points).
• Friendly and empathetic demeanour.
• Access to a 4‑door (minimum) car.
• Alignment with our organisation’s values.
• Basic IT skills, e.g., smartphone use.
