Overview
Assist the organisation in identifying, securing, and managing funding opportunities to support the sustainability of charity events.
Responsibilities
- Research potential funding opportunities, including grants and trusts.
- Develop and maintain an up‑to‑date database of funding sources and deadlines.
- Assist in drafting funding proposals and applications tailored to specific funders.
- Work with the Funding Sub Committee to gather necessary information and data for applications.
- Track the progress of funding applications and provide updates to the Funding Sub Committee.
- Assist in preparing funder evaluations, ensuring compliance with their requirements.
Qualifications and Skills
- Strong research and analytical skills (desirable but not essential).
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing needs.
Location & Commitment

Flexible, with a minimum of 2 hours per week.
Training and Support
