Integration Engineer | £95,000 | London Hybrid | 12 Month FTC Location: London / Hybrid Salary: £95,000
Overview: An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Integration Engineer to join a global Financial Services organisation undergoing major technology transformation.
This role will focus on designing, developing, and supporting enterprise integrations across a complex technology landscape. Working closely with application teams, business stakeholders, and third-party vendors, you will build and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable integration solutions that enable seamless data exchange between critical business systems.
Role & Responsibilities: Design, develop, test, and support integrations across enterprise applications and platforms. Build and maintain REST APIs, event-driven integrations, messaging solutions, and file-based interfaces. Develop integrations using Azure Integration Services including Logic Apps, Service Bus, Event Grid, and API Management. Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Support integration projects through the full software development lifecycle. Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve integration-related issues in production environments. Create and maintain technical documentation, interface specifications, and data mappings. Participate in integration design reviews and contribute to best practice standards. Work with third-party vendors to deliver and support system integrations. Support testing activities including system integration testing and user acceptance testing.
Skills & Experience Essential:~5+ years’ experience in Integration Engineering, Middleware Development, Systems Integration, or a similar technical role.~ Strong hands-on experience developing integrations between enterprise platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, WMS, TMS, or other business-critical systems.~ Experience with REST APIs, GraphQL, SOAP services, messaging technologies, and file-based integrations.~ Strong knowledge of Azure Integration Services including Service Bus, Logic Apps, Event Grid, and API Management.~ Experience working with JSON, XML, OData, and data transformation techniques.~ Ability to create technical specifications, interface designs, and support documentation.
Desirable: Development experience with C# and .NET technologies. Experience with Microsoft Power Platform. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Azure certifications.
