The Victorian Aboriginal Legal Service (VALS) is seeking a Deputy Managing Lawyer for Youth Crime in Preston. In this full-time role, you will lead a dedicated team in providing trauma-informed legal services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander youth. Your responsibilities will include supervising lawyers, ensuring high-quality legal representation, and collaborating with various stakeholders.
Ideal candidates will have strong advocacy experience in criminal law, a current Victorian Practising Certificate, and a demonstrated commitment to cultural safety and working with disadvantaged youth.
