Global organizations require experienced commercial and technology contracting support to effectively manage vendor risk while implementing large-scale operational and regulatory initiatives. This opportunity sits within the MNC bank’s Commercial Legal team, supporting vendor contracts, Supply Chain Management, and key strategic projects.
They are seeking a Commercial or Technology Lawyer to provide backfill BAU coverage and assist with related initiatives. This role is well-suited to a commercially focused lawyer who can work independently, follow structured playbooks, and operate effectively in a process-driven global environment.
How will you make an impact in this role?
- Your responsibilities will include:
- Commercial Contract Support. Provide backfill support on general commercial and technology vendor contracts, using templates and established playbooks.
- Risk & Deviation Management. Liaise with risk teams and prepare deviation approval tables to support contract negotiations and internal governance processes.
- Vendor Contracting. Support global vendor agreements within a structured contracting framework.
- Project Support. Assist the team during contract testing phases linked to a Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) tool and an AI review initiative.
- Independent Workstream Management. Operate with minimal supervision while managing assigned matters efficiently.
Minimum Qualifications
- 4+ years PQE in commercial and/or technology transactions.
- Strong experience reviewing and negotiating commercial vendor contracts.
- Comfortable working from templates and established contracting playbooks.
- Experience liaising with risk, procurement, or supply chain stakeholders.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage volume in a structured environment.
- Procurement experience would be a plus.
- Proven experience in CLM is highly desired.
