Responsibilities
- Lead engineering teams effectively, fostering a collaborative and high‑performance culture to achieve project goals.
- Oversee timelines, team allocation, risk management, and task prioritization to ensure successful delivery within scope, time, and budget.
- Mentor and support team members’ professional growth, conduct performance reviews, provide actionable feedback, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Evaluate and enhance engineering processes, tools, and methodologies to increase efficiency and streamline workflows.
- Collaborate with business partners, product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Enforce technology standards, facilitate peer reviews, and implement robust testing practices to ensure high‑quality delivery.
- Manage a business function, providing significant input to function‑wide strategic initiatives and influencing policy and procedures.
- Coordinate resourcing, budgeting, and policy creation for a significant sub‑function.
- Foster compliance, ensure regulations are observed, and maintain adherence to relevant processes.
- Maintain a broad understanding of industry theories and practices within the discipline, and stay informed about external market developments.
- Use interpretative thinking and advanced analytical skills to solve complex or sensitive problems.
- Negotiate with and influence stakeholders at a senior level both internally and externally.
- Act as a principal contact point for key clients and counterparts in other business divisions.
- Serve as a spokesperson for the function and business division when appropriate.

Qualifications & Experience
- 5+ years experience in a technology leadership role designing and developing online, internet‑facing channels.
- Proven ability to define and execute internet channel strategies aligned to the corporate banking segment.
- Track record of managing highly utilized critical client‑facing applications that demand ‘always‑on’ designs.
- Experience owning end‑to‑end digital client journeys across online applications, ensuring consistency, usability, and premium user experience.
- Ability to lead cross‑functional teams including product managers, UX/UI designers, and senior online platform and application developers.
- Strong understanding of emerging digital trends and technologies.
- Operational lead experience for day‑to‑day effectiveness of online platforms, including corporate websites, online portals, and self‑service platforms.
- Ability to define and prioritise product roadmaps, feature enhancements, and technical upgrades in an enterprise environment.
- Collaboration with Technology, Security, Service Management, and Product Teams.
- Experience in managing external partners, vendors, and agencies to support technology solution development.
