Tax Senior Manager – Audit of Tax, based in Birmingham.

Responsibilities

• Support major audit engagements within the Tax Accounting Group.
• Provide specialist tax accounting advice to non‑audit clients.
• Lead tax audit projects for FTSE‑listed entities, private equity‑backed firms, and large inbound groups.
• Collaborate across teams and contribute to technical advisory work including GAAP conversions and acquisition accounting.
• Coach junior staff and act as a go‑to resource for tax accounting queries.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in tax accounting and auditing.
• Strong knowledge of FRS102 and IFRS; US GAAP is a plus.
• Background in corporate tax advisory and compliance.
• Proven project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
• CTA and/or ACA qualified (or equivalent).
• Passion for mentoring and knowledge‑sharing.
