Head of Fund Finance

Equifindare pleased to be supporting a leading global financial services firm who are at the centre of the field they operate in. After being in the game for many years they have since expanded globally with over 50 offices, 20 countries and 3000+ staff across the board.

We’re looking for a talented Head of Funds Finance, or a candidate with the drive to step up into this position to lead a department. It’s a great role with a huge scope for potential given the nature of the business. You’ll join a team mixed of both part qualified and qualified individuals, with your role to lead, guide and develop this team further upon arrival.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Lead the fund accounting team, including training and development across all stages
• Support the professional growth of team members through coaching and continuous development
• Contribute to the design and oversight of operational controls, procedures and compliance measures in line with local regulatory requirements
• Maintain oversight of funds, ensuring accurate and timely execution
• Monitor team capacity, time management, and financial performance metrics to ensure efficient use of resourcing
• Fostering strong relationships internally to enhance cross-functional collaboration
• Support in the execution of multiple existing and new strategies in coordination with legal and governance teams
• Participate in market outreach and relationship-building efforts, identifying opportunities
• Promote the use of continuous improvement tools and lean principles to enhance operational effectiveness and embed a culture of sustainable improvement

Application requirements:

• Qualified accountant with 10-15 years of related or similar experience
• Strong, proven team management experience
• Strong fund accounting knowledge including fund structuring
• Proven experience of Jersey FSC regulations

Package and Benefits:

• Base salary of £120,000 – £150,000
• Hybrid working pattern – typically 2-3 days in office per week
• Discretionary bonus
• Pension contribution
