As a Solicitor in the property team, you will be working closely with Joseph Reed (Partner), focusing on property matters for our church and charity clients, with a particular emphasis on church land. The position will also see you work on property owning trusts and some education clients, with a 60-70% split in favour of commercial property work.

Tasks will include:

  • Taking a lead in supporting and developing the client relationship with key diocesan clients
  • Providing advice across a wide range of disciplines relating to charity property, including ecclesiastical, educational and trust law
  • Being committed to working with and developing long‑term relationships with church and charity clients.

ABOUT YOU

This is the ideal role for someone who has either very recently qualified and either completed seats in real estate/commercial property and/or residential property, looking to work in an area of law that will provide you with a level of complexity and various technical/commercial nuances that many firms do not operate in. You will thrive and enjoy the process of learning, whilst balancing a varied and interesting caseload.

We would also be open to seeing candidates who are established property focused paralegals looking for a long term and fulfilling property role.

In return, you will be joining one of the best ecclesiastical practices in the country and be surrounded by supportive, knowledgeable colleagues who all share a unique passion for this area of law.
