Overview
Service Care Solutions is recruiting on behalf of a Local Authority in West Yorkshire for a Licensing Solicitor to join their legal team on a hybrid basis.
Location: West Yorkshire (Hybrid Working)
Contract: 3‑Month Rolling Contract – PART TIME
Rate: £50–£55 per hour (Umbrella) PAYE (Inc.Hol) : £44.50 – £48.89
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a caseload of licensing matters, including alcohol, entertainment, and taxi licensing
- Providing legal advice to council officers, committees, and elected members
- Drafting legal documents, reports, and representations
- Advising councillors in licensing sub‑committee hearings
About You
- Qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or Legal Executive with relevant experience
- Proven experience handling licensing matters within a local authority setting
- Strong advocacy and advisory skills
