I’m working with a respected regional law firm that is looking to recruit a Commercial Property Solicitor (Newly Qualified +) to join its busy and growing Commercial Property team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an NQ or junior solicitor to build strong technical experience within a supportive environment, handling high-quality work for a broad client base including landlords, tenants, developers and owner‑managed businesses.
The Role
You’ll be involved in a wide range of commercial property matters, including:
- Freehold and leasehold acquisitions and disposals
- Drafting and negotiating commercial leases, renewals and variations
- Advising on landlord and tenant matters
- Supporting on development and investment work
- Title investigation, due diligence and reporting
- Managing matters from instruction through to completion and post‑completion
- Direct client contact and involvement in business development activities
The Ideal Candidate
- Newly Qualified solicitor or up to 3-4 years’ PQE
- Experience in commercial property gained during training or post‑qualification
- Strong drafting and technical skills
- Commercial, client-focused approachAbility to manage a varied caseload with appropriate supervision
- Enthusiastic, proactive and keen to develop long-term within a firm
