I’m currently working with a well-established and highly respected planning and development consultancy that is looking to expand its team with the addition of a talented Town Planner in their Wilmslow office. The Role
As a Town Planner, you will play a key role in supporting and managing a variety of planning projects from inception through to determination. You’ll be working alongside experienced professionals, gaining exposure to a diverse portfolio and contributing to successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing and submitting planning applications and appeals
- Conducting site appraisals and planning research
- Engaging with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders
- Supporting senior team members on complex projects
- Monitoring planning policy and legislative changes
About You
- Degree qualified in Town Planning or a related discipline
- Working towards or already MRTPI qualified (or equivalent)
- Previous experience in either consultancy or local authority
- Strong report writing and communication skills
- A proactive and commercially aware approach
